  37. Can you actually buy the 1260?  I thought it wasn't going to be released
  38. untill the '060 chip was in full production.  83Mips!  I want one.  How much
  39. did yours cost?  In australia the only boards available are dkb's - and most
  40. of the fast ones make the computer crash, freeze and stuff up every five
  41. minutes.  Do you have this problem with the blizzard?  Do you have to have the
  42. 1200 modified to get the board to work?
  43.         Please help me - I am getting to the point where the 1200 isn't worth
  44. it.  People produce software for the base models, which means people who spend
  45. on faster don't get software that supports it.  Look at the PC.  A new game
  46. comes out that someone cant run on their p100, so they upgrade to a p166.
  47. Games should be written for the faster processors to provide incentive (!) for
  48. people to upgrade.
